In the early days of GumGum, I still remember the day, when all 5 of us went to watch a movie - Transformers on 25th of June 2009 on the promenade in the middle of the day.
We had shut off all of our phones because of the movie. When we came out of the movie theater and started our phones back, we saw a barrage of messages from our system. Our entire system was down.
Ken and I ran to the office and tried to find out what took our systems down. Finally we figured out - Michael Jackson had died and as a result the entire world was reading about the news on the internet!
Which of GumGum's values resonates with you the most and why?
GumGum is a fast moving company. It resonates with me becauseI like continuous change.
GumGum definitely doesn't disappoint, it's a very fluid and constantly changing company. Agility - ability to move fast - allows us to be in a continuous state of change.
