Managing Unconscious Bias Training

This 3-hour program is a fast-paced and interactive exploration of our unconscious biases, their impact on our work, and tactics for addressing them. Your facilitator, Brooks E. Scott, the owner and founder of Merging Path Coaching, is a professionally certified Executive Coach that specializes in management training, interpersonal communication, and leadership, all with a focused lens of diversity and inclusion.

The workshop will address three types of bias that are well-researched and common to workplaces.

The workshop is anchored by three learning objectives:

  • Build our awareness and understanding of our unconscious biases, so that we can become better students of our own behavior (i.e. we can catch ourselves in biased moments so others don't have to)

  • Establish a shared language and framework for discussing bias, in a safe and constructive way

  • Commit to incremental individual changes that add up to significant collective changes in any organization
